T. G. Connelly, AIA, of Magnolia has recently been appointed to serve a five-year term on the Arkansas State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects, and Interior Designers by Governor Mike Beebe.  The Arkansas State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects, and Interior Designers has statutory responsibility for the examination, licensure and regulation of the practice of architecture, landscape architecture, and interior design in order to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public occupying an using buildings in the State of Arkansas.

 

Connelly received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Iowa State University.  He received Arkansas License No. 320 in 1961 to practice architecture in the State of Arkansas.  Connelly is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Arkansas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.  He is also a retired Commander in the United States Naval Reserve Civil Engineer Corps.

 

Connelly is a principal at CADM Architecture, Inc. (formerly Connelly Abbott Dunn and Monroe Architects P.A.) and has practiced in El Dorado and Magnolia since 1963.  Offices for the staff of eight are currently located in the First Financial Building in El Dorado and at 222 North Pine in Magnolia.  CADM Architecture is licensed to practice architecture in Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and Wisconsin and enjoys a variety of educational, commercial, institutional, civic, senior living, religious, and multi-family and single-family residential projects.
